POSSIBLES will present the works of 12 artists from various art disciplines in collaboration with 12 creative partners in 12 unusual Montréal venues once a month throughout the year 2017. The Objective is to provide a platform to up-and-coming artists by inviting them to create new POSSIBLES exploring 12 local issues that arose from discussions with the community. POSSIBLES merges art and civic engagement in a perspective of sustainable development.

AURA
A luminous experience in the heart of the Notre-Dame Basilica from March 21st to September 30th, 2017. A path of lights, showcasing the Basilica’s exquisite works and beauty. A unique, three-act multimedia spectacle combines light, orchestral music and grandiose architecture that will transport audiences by AURA. The experience takes place in two parts. First, a series of multimedia installations that highlight the artwork beneath the building’s rood screens. The second, immersive portion of the experience is held at the centre of the Basilica.

Illumination of the Biosphère
The iconic Biosphère will be illuminated every night in a spectrum of colours all year long. The illumination commemorates Montréal’s 375th Anniversary, Canada’s 150th and Expo 67’s 50th.  This new lighting will feature gradual changes in colour and intensity that will allow for a continuous transformation of the Biosphere’s façade. These light sequences will subtly and delicately pass from one to the next. Head over to Parc Jean-Drapeau to see the gorgeous light show!
