Wanna laugh? These 5 comedy festivals will feature some of the hottest comedians in the world in one place. Check these events out:

Crapshoot Comedy Festival – Las Vegas, USA (May 18-20)
Vegas, baby! The Crapshoot Comedy Festival is amazing because it attracts more big name comedians than any other comedy festival in the world. After all, Las Vegas is a comedy hotspot, and from May 18-20 several venues in the East Fremont Entertainment District will host some of the most famous comedians in America. Notable gigs include the double act Brad Williams and Adam Ray (known for their hilarious “About Last night” podcast), the stellar German DJ Flula Borg and the ever hilarious Bert Kreischer who will bring his hilarious “Bertcast Live” podcast to the stage. The All-American comedy legend Dave Attell will perform his mature (and hilarious) material at the festival and this is not to be missed. The festival will also feature local, up-and-coming Vegas Comedians.

Just for Laughs Festival – Montréal, Canada (July 12-31)
Could we ask for a better lineup? From July 12-31, some of Chillwall’s favourite comedians will perform in Quebec, the funniest city in Canada, for the Just for Laughs Festival. Our favourite French comedian Gad Elmaleh will join the legendary Jerry Seinfeld for what is sure to be an unforgettable act. Don’t miss Emmy Award-Winning African comedian Trevor Noah who will bring his stand-up routine to the festival on July 28. Other artists include Netflix comedy queen Ali Wong, Judd Apatow and Jim Norton. If you want to laugh, head to the one of the most happening cities in the world to experience these amazing acts.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe – Edinburgh, Scotland (Aug 4 – Aug 28)
One of the largest  arts festivals in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is not exclusively a comedy festival but will feature some of the best comedy acts in Europe. Want a taste of English comedy? Don’t miss Samantha Baines who will bring her hilarious show to the festival. The after-hours comedy show Amused Moose Comedy will feature hilarious, Time Out recommended comedy acts that will take place into the late hours of the night. Other shows include hilarious actor and writer Abigail Burdess, Catherine Bohart and Danny Clives. With some of the most unique comedy experiences on the planet, it’s no wonder why this festival is a favourite of comedy lovers.

YYComedy Festival – Calgary, Canada (October 16-21)
Anyone who’s anyone in Canadian comedy will perform at Calgary’s annual YYComedy Festival. Since its beginning in 2011, the YYComedy Festival has become the sixth largest comedy festival in Canada and has cemented Calgary as one of the country’s comedy capitals. The city’s comedy venues are known to attract some high-profile comedians, and from October 16-21 the biggest names in comedy will be here for the festival including Toronto comedians Shaun Majumder and infamous Video on Trial host Debra Digiovanni. Other comedians to watch out for include the master of satire Steve Patterson, award-winning columnist turned comedian DeAnne Smith and star on the rise Laurie Elliot.

Blue Whale Comedy Festival, Oklahoma (Sep 7-10)
We’ve mentioned this festival before and we’ll mention it again! The Blue Whale Comedy Festival will return to Oklahoma this September and will feature a lineup of stellar comedians including Kyle Kinane, the Skylar Brothers and Gina Brillon. Tulsa, Oklahoma is one of the top places in America for the performing arts, and this festival is why. Be sure to check out the full line up, and get ready to laugh!
