Prince Edward island is an amazing food destination in Canada due to its highly regarded reputation for using fresh ingredients. From the beginning of September to the beginning of October, the Fall Flavours Festival gives attendees the chance to experience this reputation first hand because it offers them awesome food served by several venues and even the chance to meet the chefs! Countless celebrity chefs attend this event, so be sure to watch out. The festival happens throughout the entire Island, so visit local restaurants to have some fall-inspired dishes made from fresh ingredients! This is definitely worth the trip.

At the Newport Beach Civic Center, additional events will be held that will allow you to learn from these individuals. This year, talents such as Rick Bayless and Hubert Keller will be here to give some awesome demonstrations and to host! If you love to cook (and love tastings), we definitely recommend checking out his festival, which will give a taste of why California is considered the best place on earth for foodies! Many do not know this, but Toronto is one of the best places in North America for fine chocolate. Happening in November, you can taste just how much Toronto loves chocolate at this luxury chocolate show, which gives attendees the chance to experience a diverse range of luxurious chocolates in a warm concert hall (a perfect break from the bitter cold). At the show, check out the chocolate making classes (which are FREE!), a huge chocolate marketplace, eating contests (yum!) and even chocolate and wine parings. The festival happens on November 6, as a finale to the 23 days long Toronto chocolate festival.

The best part of fall is definitely pumpkin inspired treats! While you can get them almost anywhere in North America, the famous New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival has some of the best in the world. This festival pays homage to pumpkins, and the locals do not disappoint with their baking. Also, this festival is known for holding the world record for the most jack-o’-lanterns lit at one time (more than 30,000!) and this year the locals will attempt to break this record again. When you’re done watching this, head out to experience some food and fireworks to end your evening, If you are a fall lover, this will be heaven on earth for you.
