Movie

A movie is sometimes a great place to go on a date but it is only a movie. This year go check out and reenact some of your favorite scenes from your favorite romantic movies in New York.

Katz’s Delicatessen

Now you may be asking yourself, “Why would a smoked meat place be romantic?”. Well, it’s not… but the movie that was filmed there is considered to be one of the best romantic films of all time. The movie I am talking about is “When Harry Met Sally”. One of the most iconic scenes from the movie was filmed here. Take a seat where Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan talked and enjoyed ( maybe too much) their food.  The restaurant is open to the public and has amazing pastrami.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

This iconic movie is legendary. It is a glamorous love story. Even though they do not serve breakfast at Tiffany’s, they do have a few bagel shops around the area. Pick up a bagel and a coffee and sit on a bench outside of Tiffany’s , on East 75th Street, for you and your special someone to talk.

The Mall, Central Park

You can pretty much reenact any romantic movie here. This park has been in Enchanted, Maid In Manhatten and so much more. Go for a nice stroll and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the lines of trees and the beauty of the park. Maybe you will create your own romantic moment. There is a reason why so many romantic movies have been filmed there.
