Austin is fairly high paying in terms of wages (making it a great spot for students looking for work). Many business writers acclaim the University of Texas, but the city itself is fun because it is one of the most culturally diverse cities in America. Try staying in the Mueller or Southwood neighborhoods to chill with other students, both of which are perfect for young people.
