Love beer? Than you’ll love Toronto, which has some of the best breweries in the world.

Amsterdam Brewhouse

This waterfront location has one of the best patios in town (300 seats, including a row of Muskoka chairs overlooking the lake!). The music might be loud, but there’s always a fun crowd!

Retail shop: Yes, to buy the full range of Amsterdam’s beers.

Don’t miss: Space Invaders Pale Ale, and whatever’s new and seasonal.

P.S. They brew Toronto’s best IPA, the “Bone Shaker”

Mill Street Brew Pub

The original Distillery District location now focuses on seasonal offerings and one-offs, leaving Mill Street’s better-known brands to their Scarborough packaging brewery. However, this is still the neighbourhood’s “go-to” pub and alehouse.

Retail shop: Yes, they sell beer, t-shirts and souvenirs.

Don’t miss: Whatever’s new, and don’t forget that they brew one of the only certified organic beers in town.

Bellwoods Brewery

This funky little brewpub opened in 2012 in the hip area of Ossington. The “Bell” serves the most adventurous beers in Toronto with sales of bottles available onsite. It’s the only place in the area where you can do a beer testing.

Retail shop: Yes, where you can buy beer and souvenirs

Don’t miss: Witchshark Double IPA, Mashpipe (smoked Berliner Weisse) and whatever’s new (they rotate their selection frequently).
