5 Can’t Miss US Festivals for Fall Lovers

Who doesn’t love fall? Here are some can’t miss fall-related events to check out this year.

National Apple Harvest Festival, Pennsylvania (October 1-2 + 8-9)

This is a massive fall-related festival that will happen in Pennsylvania in the very beautiful Adams County. You can experience awesome crafts, music and a lot of delicious food from some amazing food vendors. There are also tons of contests held and some great entertainment, so there is no shortage of things to do. This year, enjoy awesome attractions like the Apple Auditorium and some amazing craftsman demonstrations. Buy your tickets in advance to skip the line, and be sure to bring your best fall scarf!

Breckenridge Oktoberfest, Colorado (September 9-11)

Who doesn’t love a good Oktoberfest celebration? Breckenridge does it best, with some of the best beer you will have ever tasted. The largest Oktoberfest in the Rocky Mountains, this festival will feature more than 36 vendors serving authentic German beer and cuisine like schnitzel and sausage. Be sure to pack your lederhosen (we’re sure you will want to take part in the dancing after enjoying a few). Located in the gorgeous Breckenridge, you will be able to experience the famous yellow Colorado trees as well as the other fall foliage that will surround you here (there is no better place to do this).

Autumn at the Arboretum, Dallas (Sep 17-Nov 23)

Pumpkins galore! The Autumn at the Arboretum festival is considered one of the best pumpkin festivals in America. Located in the sunny city of Dallas, this festival will feature more than 90,000 pumpkins (wow!) that will be displayed in this year’s festival. This pumpkin display has been named one of the world’s top 15 most breathtaking gardens by Architectural Digest and is an absolute must see if you happen to be in Texas during this time. This year the theme will be “Art of the Pumpkin”, so expect even more breathtaking fall beauty.

Floresville Peanut Festival, Texas (October 4, 6-8)

Are you a peanut lover? Then you’ll go nuts for this FREE festival happening in October in Texas that has awesome games, parades and much more. Saturday is the most happening day to attend as there will be a parade as well as art and crafts vendors, music and dance performances and an amazing raffle to participate in. Don’t forget about the peanuts … you can grab peanut products here such as peanut brittle, homemade peanut butter, pies, cookies and ice cream. Peanut lovers rejoice! Black Walnut Festival, West Virginia (October 13-16)

There is nothing that you can’t do at this festival as it includes a carnival, a craft show, a car show, a band competition and one amazing food court.
