If you are thinking of taking a trip with your loved one to the capital of England, any time is ideal to make it a romantic getaway. From picnics in summer, to dynamic and refreshing walks in winter, there’s always a reason to visit one of the parks in London.

They are perfect to relax and to find sporting events, outdoor theaters, concerts and beautiful views.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the most beloved parks in London, with more than 4,000 trees, the Serpentine, a meadow and a rose garden. What about taking a leisurely stroll or bike ride along its paths with your partner? The fountain in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, can also be found here. If you have the chance, visit the Italian Garden located on the north side of the lake, which is a marvel with more than 150 years old.

Regent’s Park

Regent’s Park covers 166 hectares and includes stunning rose gardens and the largest outdoor sports area in London, with facilities for soccer, softball, rugby and cricket. At the lake there are wild animals and waterfowls. Every summer, the Open Air Theatre is hosted there.

Richmond Park

This beautiful royal park is famous because in it lives about 650 deer in the wild. Richmond Park covers about 1,000 hectares with excellent cycle paths, horse stables and two golf courses. In this amazing park you can practice flights on kites. And there is nothing more romantic than the views from the top of the hill.

Lee Valley Park

Lee Valley Regional Park is ideal for sport lover partners. It expands over 42 km of the River Lee, from East India Docks, past the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to Ware in Hertfordshire. Along the way, you will find amazing parks, beautiful nature reserves, and there is the opportunity to practice any sport.
