Summer isn’t over yet! If you’re planning a trip, here are some amazing places to go and some amazing things to do that are best when done in the summer.
Amsterdam
While you might think that Amsterdam is just good for exotic shows, there is so much more to do in this beautiful city. The Dutch food that you can get here is amazing, and trust me when I say that you will not find better desserts anywhere else in the world (we suggest getting some stroopwafel, or the incredible hagelslag sprinkles which is served on toast). The city itself is gorgeous, so make sure to spend some time looking out onto the rivers or even rent a bike and take a ride down the stone brick streets (everyone in the city rides a bike, so you will fit right in with the locals). Try attending Uitmarkt if you are there in the summer. It is the biggest cultural festival in the country and has stellar music performances and a giant book market (admission is FREE!).

Niagara Falls
Visiting Niagara Falls is an experience that is only worthwhile in the summer months. There are so many ways to see the falls including by helicopter or tours that take you behind the falls. While in Niagara Falls, make sure to experience the awesome nightlife that includes famous casinos and nightclubs (we love the R5 club and the Hard Rock Nightclub). Be warned, Canadian winters are harsh, so this nightlife is best experienced in the summer months. Looking for other attractions? Visit the famous Cave of the Winds during the day or head to the Nightmare Factory (if you can handle it!).

Manhattan Summer Fun
While it’s true that Manhattan is beautiful in the winter, there are countless things to do there that are best when done in warm weather. Having a picnic in Central Park is one of the coolest and most relaxing things to do here (also try visiting the zoo located in Central Park). If you’re looking for something a little more edgy, visit Jane’s Carousel located near the Brooklyn Bridge (this is a perfect date idea). The Strawberry Fields memorial is the best in the summer because of all of the foliage. Want to go out? The nightlife here is stellar (and who wants to party in the snow anyway?).

London
Why London? Because winter in England is not the winter wonderland that it is in other parts of the world (the slush and cold weather are not accompanied by snow here). So, the best time to Experience London is in the summer months when you can actually enjoy the weather (England gets pretty warm and sunny during summer). You’re obviously going to see things like the London Eye and Big Ben, but don’t forget that London is a very fashion forward city that is a prime location for shopping. If you want to grab some new summer threads to add to your wardrobe (and show them off while you’re at it), head to Bond Street or the Duke of York Square so that you can walk outside and enjoy the weather while you shop at these premium places.
