Everyone knows that eating healthy while travelling gets a lot harder when you are on vacation.

It is easier to eat healthy when you are in your normal daily routine.

Depending on where you are travelling, you may not have many fresh food options.

I like to explore different countries as often as I can… and I’ve been in airports with lots of food options and other with surprisingly few.

And with all the travelling I’ve done, I’ve figured out what’s worth buying and what’s a must pack snack.

Depending on where you are travelling, you may not have many fresh food options.

At airports and on airplanes you will mostly find processed and packed snacks. Stock up on some healthier snack options before you leave like: granola bars, trail mix nuts, dried fruits and dark chocolate.

You may even consider making yourself a meal to bring with you on the plane.

Hydrate!

Consider carrying an empty bottle in your travel bag that you can fill once you’ve passed through security.

And remember: tea hydrates too. While most airlines serve only black tea, expand your options by packing your own tea bags of preferences.

If you are staying in a hotel without a mini fridge or a kitchen, you most likely be eating out art restaurants all three meals a day.

Consider staying at an Airbnb or renting an apartment for the week so that you have access to a kitchen.

Even if you plan to be out all day, you can at least have a good healthy quality breakfast to get your day started.

One of the first things I pack is my organic supplements because they keep me sane when it comes to feeling energetic.

I make them even a greater priority to take them to stay healthy while travelling.

I avoid spending valuable time with an upset stomach and It’s not uncommon for your digestion to be slowed down when travelling.

If you find that you get constipated, make sure to drink plenty of water and take a higher boost of probiotics to keep things moving.

There are many venues in each city offering healthy fare, meaning those who go meat and dairy free always have a new spot to try delicious dishes in the city, make to check them out events near me to satisfy your vegan cravings and stay healthy while travelling.
