California is known for its natural beauty, high mountain, pristine beaches, desolate deserts, innumerable hikes. Escondido Falls | Malibu
Distance: 4 miles | Time: 2 hrs | Elevation: 416 ft
The 150-foot-tall Escondido Falls is the tallest waterfall in Santa Monica, the first 0.75 mile of trail is along East Winding Way.  It is the most spectacular fall in LA, and offers couple of cave behind waterfalls.

Sturtevant Falls | Angeles National Forest
Distance: 3.1 miles | Time: 1.5 hr | Elevation: 682 ft
The most attractive and easiest waterfall hikes in the Southern California. This moderate trail is primary used for leisure hikes. This trail is only 10 minutes away from HWY 210, and offers a parking.

Eaton Canyon Trail | Alta Dena
Distance: 3.6 miles | Time:  2 hrs | Elevation: 488 ft
This trail is known for casual hikes, it is easy for the most parts, however, it gets rugged closer to the waterfall. There are so many running stream throughout the trails, and it leads you right to the waterfall.

Trail Canyon Falls | TUJUNGA
Distance: 11.4 miles | Time:  6 hrs | Elevation: 3307 ft
This moderate trail is located near Tujunga, California, which offers few activities all year around. This quiet hike takes you through the forest and spectacular view, and leads to the 30-foot waterfall. However, this trail crosses through the steam, you need to wear appropriate gear and take a lot of water and snack.

Switzer Falls via Gabrielino Trail | Flintridge
Distance: 6.8 miles | Time: 3.5 hrs | Elevation: 689 ft
This short fall in the Angeles National Forest offers easy hike to a 50-foot waterfall. For most part is very easy, however, is more uphill as it gets closer to the waterfront. 

The Grotto | Malibu
Distance: 3 miles | Time: 2.5 hrs | Elevation: 600 ft

This well-maintained hike takes you through the Solstice Canyon Trails. This trail features the oldest standing stone building in Malibu and view to the ocean.
