Beaches

Beaches are such a great way to enjoy the wonderful weather of Los Angeles! Besides swimming, you can walk or run on the beach along the 75 miles of the Los Angeles coastline. Go to the trendy shops and dining in Manhattan Beach. Enjoy the unique atmosphere with the sand and surf in Redondo and Hermosa beaches in the South Bay. Explore the natural pools of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro. Marvel at bodybuilders in Venice Beach. Admire the surfers at Surfrider Beach Beach near Malibu Lagoon (which is also free to visit).

Griffith Park

It is the largest urban park in the United States — 4,107 acres — and has a mix of activities for the whole family, which provides great fun. You can go on a picnic in one of its gardens. There are a lot of trails for hiking at all levels, allowing visitors to get to the top to see one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the city and the Hollywood sign.

Riviera Marina Del Rey

Everyone has heard of the French Riviera, but not everyone knows that Los Angeles has its own “Riviera”, which is Marina del Rey. The marina for small boats are manmade, and is the largest in the world. There are more than 6,000 private yachts, in which some of them are truly shocking. The marina offers spectacular views and many outdoor activities, among which are the running, skating, cycling and simply relaxing and enjoying the park.
