Toronto is a city of multiculturalism, which is why there is such a diverse range of cultural events that take place not only in the city but within the GTA as well. If you are looking to meet friends, Toronto is a great place to expand your network.
What are some interesting places you ask? I’ll tell you here:
1. Kensington Market
If you’re looking for a great area to hang out and shop for things that aren’t mainstream, then Kensington Market is your go-to place! There are hidden gems here and there at the market, so make sure you don’t miss out and visit with your friends!
2. St. Lawrence Market
Yes, this is another market but completely different from Kensington. St. Lawrence Market is known for selling very fresh seafood, high-quality meat, and delicious cooked food. Not to mention, it’s basically in the heart of Toronto, close to the CN Tower. Once you’re there at St. Lawrence Market, you can walk over to other places. How convenient is that? Check it out one day with your friends!
3. Scarborough Bluffs
Are you a beach person? Head over to the Scarborough Bluffs for a fun time! Bring all your friends, pets, family, co-workers, etc. and enjoy walking barefoot on the warm sand, while overlooking the beautiful water! Just make sure you head over there early if you’re driving because parking can get messy (the parking lots aren’t very big). While this beach isn’t as big as other ones in Toronto, such as the Woodbine Beach; however, I still think it’s a great beach to go to if you’re not fond of going downtown.
